About This Policy
This Policy outlines general fraud-prevention practices, transaction reviews, customer security responsibilities and procedures for reporting suspected unauthorised activity.
Purpose
Prosper Professional Development Life Private Limited (“Prosper”, “we”, “our” or “us”) is committed to protecting customers, transactions and service operations from fraud, unauthorised activity and misuse. This Policy describes general safeguards and review practices that may be used in connection with gift cards, vouchers and related services available through www.safalsevakendra.in.
Scope and Partner Responsibilities
Some products may be issued, processed, activated or redeemed through third-party banks, authorised payment providers, PPI issuers, merchants or other service partners. Security checks may be performed by Prosper and/or the relevant partner, depending on the product and each party’s role. The actual issuer or responsible regulated provider should be identified in the relevant product information where applicable. This Policy does not claim that Prosper independently holds an RBI, NPCI or other regulatory licence.
Examples of Risk Indicators
Depending on the service and available information, a transaction may be reviewed if there are indicators such as:
- Repeated failed payment attempts or unusual order patterns.
- Material mismatches in order, contact, payment or verification information.
- Suspected use of stolen payment credentials or another person’s identity without authority.
- Multiple orders or redemption attempts that appear inconsistent with normal use.
- Reports of compromised voucher codes, unauthorised redemption or account access.
- Signals from payment partners, issuers, merchants or lawful fraud-prevention systems.
A risk indicator does not, by itself, prove fraud. Reviews should be proportionate to the circumstances and carried out in accordance with applicable law and partner requirements.
Preventive and Protective Measures
Depending on the product and partner arrangements, measures may include:
- Using appropriate access controls and limiting access to customer and transaction information to authorised personnel.
- Reviewing transaction and order status and using verification steps where appropriate to the product and risk.
- Coordinating with relevant issuers, merchants and payment providers to investigate suspicious activity.
- Maintaining reasonable technical and organisational safeguards for systems and information.
- Providing customers with clear guidance to protect voucher codes, account credentials and payment authentication information.
- Keeping appropriate records of reported incidents and actions taken, subject to applicable retention requirements.
The measures actually deployed may vary by product and partner. Prosper should publish only safeguards that are genuinely implemented and should not disclose operational details that could weaken security.
Transaction Review, Hold or Decline
Where reasonably necessary and permitted by applicable law and the relevant product terms, Prosper or the responsible service partner may request clarification, apply additional verification, delay processing, decline an order, restrict access or refer a transaction for investigation. Such action may be taken to protect customers, comply with partner requirements or respond to a reasonable suspicion of fraud or unauthorised activity. Where appropriate and legally permitted, the customer will be informed of the general status and any available next steps. Detailed security rules, confidential investigation information or legally restricted information may not be disclosed.
Customer Security Responsibilities
- Keep gift-card and voucher codes, PINs, redemption links, passwords and one-time passwords confidential.
- Use only the official website and verified communication channels when placing orders or seeking support.
- Do not share passwords, OTPs or full payment-card details with anyone claiming to provide customer support.
- Check order details before confirming a purchase and report suspicious messages or unauthorised transactions promptly.
- If a voucher or account may be compromised, contact Prosper and the relevant issuer or merchant as soon as possible.
Reporting Suspected Fraud
Customers should report suspected fraud or unauthorised activity by emailing anup.rai@safalsevakendra.in. Include the order ID or transaction reference, a description of the issue and relevant evidence where available. Please hide unnecessary personal information in screenshots and never email passwords, OTPs, PINs or full payment-card details.
Where a bank, issuer, payment provider or merchant is responsible for the relevant transaction or product, customers may also need to contact that partner through its official support or dispute channel. For an urgent payment-account compromise, contact the relevant bank or payment provider promptly.
Incident Handling and Cooperation
Reported incidents may be reviewed, documented and escalated to the appropriate internal team or service partner. Where required or permitted, relevant information may be shared with competent authorities or affected partners for investigation, fraud prevention, dispute handling or legal compliance. Any response will be subject to applicable law, privacy obligations and partner agreements.
Refunds and Liability
A report of fraud or unauthorised use will be assessed on its facts and under the applicable product terms, partner procedures and law. This Policy does not guarantee a refund, replacement or recovery in every case. Any remedy depends on the circumstances, transaction records, issuer or merchant rules and applicable legal requirements.
